Vision
Birdor is a calm, developer-first platform for modern builders.
Birdor is being built as a quiet, reliable base layer for developers— a toolkit and API platform that stays out of your way and lets you focus on building.
It's not a giant cloud. It's not an enterprise suite. It's a small, carefully crafted space where tools, APIs, and the console all work together with as little friction as possible.
Birdor aims to become the calmest and most developer-friendly toolkit + API platform on the internet — a place where building things feels simple, safe, and delightful again.
What Birdor Is Becoming
Birdor is centered around three core pillars:
- Tools — clean, minimal browser tools for everyday development tasks.
- APIs — the same capabilities, exposed as stable, well-documented APIs.
- Console — a quiet dashboard for projects, keys, usage, logs, teams, and billing.
Together, they form a developer platform that is practical, predictable, and respectful of your attention.
Product Philosophy
1. Calm over complex
Birdor avoids noisy dashboards and heavy workflows. Interfaces are designed to feel light, balanced, and distraction-free — so you can think clearly while you work.
2. Tools are entry points
Birdor starts with simple tools: JWT debuggers, encoders, JSON diff, cron parsers, timestamp converters, and more. Each tool is a gentle entry into deeper capabilities— APIs and Console features you can grow into over time.
3. Developer-first, not enterprise-first
Birdor is built for indie makers, small teams, learners, and curious engineers. We optimize for clarity, speed, and trust, not for complex enterprise checklists.
Core Value: Tools, APIs, Console
Birdor's long-term value comes from making three layers work together in a calm, predictable way:
Layer 1 — Everyday Tools
High-quality browser utilities for everyday tasks: JWT, Hash, Base64, URL, text encoding, JSON diff, cron, timestamps, UUIDs, NanoIDs, color tools, and more. All are fast, consistent, dark-mode native, and ad-free.
Layer 2 — API Hub
The same capabilities used by the tools are exposed as stable, well-documented APIs:
- Hash & HMAC APIs
- Base64 & text encoding APIs
- JWT helper APIs
- Cron expression APIs
- JSON diff & merge APIs
- UUID / NanoID APIs
Each API comes with usage tracking, logs, and a fair free plan so you can integrate Birdor into real projects without friction.
Layer 3 — Developer Console
A calm dashboard for:
- Projects & environments
- API keys & (future) secrets
- Usage graphs & logs
- Webhook delivery (future)
- Team access & roles
- Billing and plans
The Console connects tools and APIs into a coherent platform, without turning into a noisy control panel.
Roadmap Vision
Birdor's long-term roadmap grows along three main streams:
1. Deepen the Tools → API → Console loop
More tools, more APIs, richer Console: secrets management, webhook delivery, structured logs, soft alerts, and a gentle edge function layer for glue code.
2. Developer Experience & Learning
Birdor Academy, interactive playgrounds, reusable templates, and team snippets — a place where you can learn, experiment, and ship using the same tools you rely on in production.
3. Ecosystem & Marketplace
Over time, Birdor can become a small ecosystem: third-party tools, APIs, and integrations that share the same calm, developer-first design language.
Long-Term Ambition
Birdor is not trying to become another AWS, another monolithic cloud, or another enterprise dashboard.
Instead, Birdor wants to be something quieter and more personal:
An everyday developer base layer — a place where building feels simple, safe, and quietly joyful again.
Our Promise
As Birdor grows, a few things will not change:
- No dark patterns, no manipulative UX.
- Developer-first decisions, not enterprise-first roadmaps.
- A free plan that's genuinely useful — not just a marketing demo.
- No tracking or selling behavioral data.
- A product that stays lightweight, understandable, and calm.
