Workspace settings
Workspace basics
These settings define how your workspace is identified inside Birdor and in future team features.
Workspace name
My Birdor Workspace
Shown in the console header and future team invites.
Workspace slug
my-birdor-workspace
Used internally and may appear in future URLs or API scopes.
Data region
Birdor aims to keep your data in a predictable region for latency and compliance reasons.
EU (Frankfurt)
Example placeholder region. Actual regions will be documented in detail.
Region changes, if allowed, may involve data migration and short maintenance windows.
Log retention (workspace default)
Current default log retention for this workspace is 7 days on the Free · Developer plan.
Higher plans may offer longer retention or custom settings. For now, this value is read-only and controlled by your plan.
Request logging
Control whether Birdor keeps detailed per-request logs for debugging inside the console.
Enable request logging
When enabled, Birdor stores minimal metadata per request so you can inspect behavior in the Logs and Usage pages.
Payloads may be truncated or redacted depending on the tool and sensitivity. See the privacy policy for details.
Experimental features
Birdor occasionally offers early access to console and API features that are still being polished.
Enabled flags (sample data):
- Improved usage dashboard
In the future, you'll be able to opt in to specific experiments from here instead of being surprised by sudden UI changes.
Data export (workspace)
Request a copy of your usage and configuration data for backup or analysis.
This is a placeholder — in a real deployment you'd be able to:
- Request a CSV/JSON export of recent usage.
- Download a snapshot of workspace settings.
- Optionally export logs within your retention window.
Legal & compliance
Birdor is still young. As it grows, this section will collect all policy and compliance links in one calm place.
If you're building something serious on top of Birdor and need more formal documentation, reach out — we'll try to keep things as boring and predictable as possible.
Workspace danger zone
Delete workspace (placeholder)
Deleting a workspace is a permanent operation. All projects, keys, and usage data for this workspace would be removed or scheduled for deletion.
- All API keys are revoked and cease to function.
- Logs and usage data may be retained for a short period for security or legal purposes.
- Billing records may still exist as required by local regulations.
When this goes live, we'll add multiple confirmation steps and clear guidance to avoid accidental deletions.
